Can anybody school me on some TV's??
« on: July 02, 2006, 10:14:40 PM »
I'm starting to look into getting a new tv.  I've still got the 27" and 19" from college, and its more than time to step it up.  I'm not looking for the absolute best technology out, I'm more looking for a great value.  I'll throw out some arbitrary figures here (keep in mind, i'm mostly uninformed so feel free clue me in on anything):  I'm thinking maybe somewhere in the 42" range, and I'd love to spend around $1500.  I'd want an LCD or DLP.  Is this realistic? I'm sure I can find a tv that meets these parameters, but I don't want a piece of shit either.  Again, these are rough numbers and I'm flexible on any of those aspects.  I'd really appreciate anybody's expertise.  Peace

What a fucking douche.  Not only do you move a question about a television from Sports & ENTERTAINMENT but you spam the thread.  And you're a mod :tosser:

No, you're off topic.  I asked for some knowledge from anybody that had expertise on televisions.  I've read numerous reviews and have shopped around and have heard contrasting reports.  I'm just looking for some more insight from other people.  So again,

Whatever you say man.  Now get the fuck outta my thread unless you're gonna drop some knowledge on TV's.

I got a 52" Mitsubishi DLP about a year ago.  I haven't had a problem with it yet. I bought it a year ago from best buy for about 2500.  I'm pretty sure the prices have dropped since then
