The original version of 50 ways was dope with the paul simon interpolation but the version on under the influence was ruined by the sample not getting cleared...The song lost alot of its potency and feel...

2pac pretty much dominates this category. His songs are really meaningful not to mention the passion in the rapping itself.

I can also think of "Foundation" by Xzibit, "Open Wounds" by R-Mean

Scarface has lots of meaningful songs - "My Block" for example
