Lol I thought that he had swiped something from Daft Punk, I still don't understand why people proclaim this guy a genius, maybe I am just not getting it but for his last album he just simply swiped classic records, which weren't even original, in so far as they have been sampled before he decided to do it. Really what is the big deal, how is this guy considered such a great producer?

If he never overhyped his car accident he would be considered average IMO. When his song "Through The Wire" came out people bought into his shit and thought someone that got his jaw wired shut and face fucked up and recovered and started rapping was incredible. Then more people thought he was just great because he rapped about Jesus, and sampled recognizable classics on like every song on his first album.

Kanye doesn't  sample classics that are recognizable to the masses, its not like he's Puffy in 96 or something.
