There hasn't been a classic album released in the 2000s.  If you call those albums classic you have a very VERY loose definition of what a classic album is.

Here are the albums that have been the closest:

50 Cent - Get Rich or Die Tryin'
Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP
Jay-Z - The Blueprint
Kayne West - College Dropout
Lupe Fiasco - Food & Liquor
Nas - Stillmatic
Scarface - The Fix

All I can think of right now.

As far as making an impact,yes.... I could agree with that.
Even the 50 album made a huge impact, but donīt know if it could be compared to Emīs.  ;)

i'm sure you can think of more reasons than just impact  ;)

Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP was hot but I'm not into tracks where he's talking about killing his wife, that shit was a heavy joint man. Some of the thangs he says turns me off, some the language this cat uses but, man, that track, 'The Way I Am', I put the album on just to listen to that joint singlely.

50 Cent - Get Rich Or Die Tryin'
Scarface - The Fix

I bought Nas - Stillmatic album some months ago, and started to appreciate his shit to the fullest.

But 2 of my favorite Hip Hop albums ever, which means they ain't Hip Hop classics to prolly nobody but like you said, so fuckin' amazing, from the 00's is....
Yung Wun - The Dirtiest Thirstiest
Roy Jones Jr.....Body Head Bangerz - Body Head Bangerz Vol. 1

that album really is fantastic but nobody will see that cause its Jeezy ::)  down south, that album is heavily praised. A great mix of dope dark tracks with some radio friendly hits and definitely has that classic single that everyone should remember: Soul Survivor with Akon. The only tracks that aren't at least 4.5/5 IMO are Get ya mind right, dont get caught and thats how ya feel.

What do u think of it D?

that Jeezy album was hard, I got that the summer it dropped and was bumpin' it non-stop... I just don't know though, something about it is missing for me to call it a "classic", but it is a solid album most definatly... Jeezy's second album was dope too, beats weren't as good but lyrically I think it was better
