You know at first I wasn't feeling Bishop Lamont....

Yeah, I kind of hated his style at first. I was thinking damn, what does Dr. Dre see in this dude? His flow sounded boring and I passed judgment on him rather quickly. It took me about two or three months to actually get into the dude. I was listening to Grow Up the other day on the bus and I was like wow I can see why Dre picked this guy. He actually has a great message, and he isn't bad at all. I mean the dude isn't a D.O.C. or Six-Two, but he has the potential to be a great artist with Dre's guidance. Also, on that note Dre maybe using similar elements for the beats on the ones he's throwing to Bishop, Slim Thug, etc. but that maybe to prepare us for some stuff that Dre is sitting on. I think he's just mainly using these beats to see if we'd like Detox on that tip or not. So long story short, Bishop has made me a believer again in new west coast rap. Go cop Detox from "buff cuz" coming sometime soon. Lol. I figured I would share that with you guys since I know a majority of this board have a good bit of faith in Bishop.

He's really shocked me. It's like I just had an epiphany one day when it came to his shit. He's actually probably one if not the best out of the west right now lyrically. This dude is damn good. I can't wait for the Reformation. Speaking of which, does anyone have any of the untagged mixtapes of his? If so, could someone PM me some links?

If it takes you two or three months to get into someone's music, you really dont't like the nigga's music. Maybe you just forcing yourself to tolerate his shit
