prince can do what he wants if he owns it,but it was more than 1 album by numerous artists
i dont know jus dont seem right, and he mus thave cleared it up to record a album for that label again
regardless balls and my word is a aite album

well i jus dont understand aite lets say the projects that werent approved by face, devin, get boys etc...then how can rap a lot drop them projects and face and others not have them pulled?
and yeah i seen that video for that album?
how is that possible that he didnt approve of the album but hes on the cover, he made a video forit and the album was all new material?
something aint right here

Well the label owns the material. I think what happened with Face, him and J probably had a disagreement before the album dropped. Now looking back at this video it was already done but by then Face had left and did his Def Jam South thing. Probably happened mid production of the album. But J owns the masters so he can do with it whatever he wants.
damn u still havent logged off...ur hurting everyone with all this wack shit u drop, it hurts more then getting the swine flu

Well all those artists he owns the masters. Tony Draper did similar tactics with Suave House with 8Ball & MJG, Tela and Rick Ross. Oh yeah Face and Prince at times have a love/hate relationship. Good to see they worked things before he retired but I know alot of Face's business dealings whether his fault or from others made him very jaded about the industry and has alot to do with him walking away from the game.

By the way, one of the facemob members just got outta' prison after serving a 10 year bid

D: I said THE SAME THING about the "Recognize" video. That album wasn't backed by Face, so the fact that it had a legit music video still makes no sense 2 me.

like d-nice said;
the album was probably done > picked the first single > shot the video > had a arguement > face left > j.prince released the album without face backing it.
