J.J. Fad: Anotha Ho (12") (1987) Roxanne Shanté, Sparky D, Howee Tee and Salt 'N' Pepa. diss
http://fuck-tha-muthaphukkin-police.blogspot.com/2008/09/jj-fad-anotha-ho-12-1987.html

The "average" J.J. Fad fan will probably tell you that there were three females in the group and they got started in 1988.
The "true" J.J. Fad fan (such as myself) will tell you that the two original members were MC J.B. (Juana Michelle Burns) and Baby-D (Dania Maria Birks).
They held auditions in MC J.B.'s den in Rialto, California where she grew up.
They soon had three additional members in the group (Anna Cash, Fatima Shaheed and Juanita A. Lee).
Their group name was, at that time, an acronym of each of their first initials.

They cut a record in 1987 called Anotha Ho which took jabs at east coast artists such as
Roxanne Shanté, Sparky D, Howee Tee and Salt 'N' Pepa.
This 12" also had the radio version on the b-side as well as the original version of Supersonic.

This group arrangement did not work out.
Eventually, the three additional members left the group and it was back down to the two sisters (sisters by blood-).
Somebody (the name escapes me at the moment) introduced them to Michelle Franklin (Sassy C) and they were then a trio.
They also replaced Anna Cash (the former DJ) with DJ Train (later a member of C.P.O.) as their DJ, but was never officially a member.
They remixed the acronym now meaning Just Jammin' Fresh And Def.
This is evident on the remix of Supersonic (not labeled as a remix but it's not the original).
This is the version that most people are familiar with.

I really like this record for several reasons. It is the only single with the original J.J. Fad.
The original version of Supersonic is much harder to come by rather than the remixed version.
If you listen closely, the original has a very slightly different sound which sounds better in my opinion.

ganxsta nip the south park psycho

Action Speaks Louder Than Words Scarface,Ganxsta Nip,Willie D and Seagram audio link
Intro on the track; Lil Jay talking to "Dr.Dre" on the phone and is upset that Dr.Dre was a member of World Class Wrecking Cru.

Quote
Ganxta Nip
www.killmusick.com/.../ artists/ganxstanip.php
As you run screaming down the back alleys you can hear the slow methodical steps of a psychopath, there's nowhere to hide. He always finds you. Squeezing yourself behind a dumpster in defeat you hear the footsteps getting closer and closer...his shadow casts a dark gloom over your face and mind...your end has come and The Psycho is back.
A forefather of horror style lyrics and violent imagery, Ganxsta NIP is back to take Horrorcore and Rap by force.
NIP's first release, "The South Park Psycho" album was an instant classic with rap fans worldwide, not quite gangster rap, not quite horrorcore...a sick and bloody middle ground that brought NIP's name to the forefront during the trial of an African American youth who shot and killed a Texas police officer. The music inside the youth's tape deck? Ganxsta NIP's sophomore release on Rap-A-Lot Records entitled, "Psychic Thoughts". NIP was now being hailed by the media as the cause.
In 1994, with controversy, nationwide coverage boosting his sales, and a Gold Record for scribing Bushwick Bill of the Geto Boys smash hit, "Chucky", Ganxsta NIP went on to release a second album under the Rap-A-Lot Records label entitled "Psychotic Genius.". Many hardcore gangsta and horrorcore fans worldwide hail this release as one of this best. It's out sold both of his previous releases. A true classic in verbal homicide.
In 1996, Ganxsta NIP's fourth album and final release under the Rap-A-Lot Records label was entitled, "Interview With a Killa,". As silently as his release faded in...he quickly retreated into the darkness to wait for the right time to return to the land of the living and reveal the new Psycho style so many have longed for. Teaming up with Mars of Mad Insanity Records, NIP has formed an unholy alliance once again will bring horrific gangster flows back to the streets and nationwide for the release of his newest anthem of terror, "The Return Of The Psychopath"...time to stop running, the end is already upon you.

Tim Dog - Penicillin On Wax review in The Source

Watch this be quoted a million times by Chad Vader, haha

 ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

JG2: Of course. Not too long ago I saw that special on VH-1 about Tupac Shakur (”Thug Angel”). It was really engrossing. Can you tell us something about Tupac Shakur that you’ve never shared with anyone before?

SG: One time in the early nineties, Bronx rapper Tim Dog did a show in San Francisco and afterwards some Frisco cats had him boxed in and were threatening to hurt him up real bad. Had it not been for Pac, Tim may have gotten murdered that night. This was right after Tim Dog’s West Coast diss album came out, but the album specifically dissed Compton and Southern Cali, and Pac felt like Frisco was ridin’ on Tim Dog unfairly and seized an opportunity to show Oakland’s strength as well as show some loyalty to his birthplace, New York City. I think Pac had also kicked it with Tim Dog once or twice back in New York and felt more camaraderie with Tim than he did [with] anonymous Frisco niggaz, and probably felt a little obligated to help him. It was in between Juice and Poetic Justice; Pac was known, but not yet a superstar or heavyweight in the streets. Anyway, that night Pac told Tim and his people to wait inside and drove across the bay to Oakland and came back with an arsenal and escorted Tim safely out of the club and back to his hotel. They straight rescued that cat. Pac became a true heavyweight in the street that night.

50 Cent VS Rick Ross

Rick Ross Is Not Impressed With 50 Cent's Dis Track, 'Officer Ricky'
Ross gives 50 '48 hours' to 'come up with another one!'

By Jayson Rodriguez

Rick Ross has heard "Officer Ricky (Go 'Head, Try Me)," 50 Cent's response to his "Mafia Music," and he said he's not impressed.

"We all gonna act like we didn't hear that," Ross told Shade45 morning host Angela Yee on Friday morning (January 30). "We gonna give him 48 hours. Time to come up with another one!"

On 50's track, which hit the Net Thursday night, the G-Unit star taunts Ross for his history as a correction officer.

"Officer Ricky radio for backup/ See your a-- anyway, you know I'm gonna act up," 50 raps. "You wanna play with me when I don't wanna play?/ Have my n---as whip the skin off your a-- in broad day/ Screaming, 'Boss,' n---a , you ain't a boss/ Pu--- n---a, you're lost/ Listen, Officer Ross."

"Officer Ricky" is a response to Ross' own dis track, in which the Miami rapper dived into 50's legal troubles with the mother of his child.

Ross wouldn't reveal the reason for the rift between the two rappers, saying "it's not important." 50, however, has been embroiled in a war of words with Ross allies Fat Joe and DJ Khaled for some time now. 50's Web site, Thisis50.com, also posted pictures in the past of Ross in various police uniforms.

The Miami rapper explained to Yee that he wanted to talk to 50 Cent during the most recent BET Awards. He said 50's facial expression, however, left him "disappointed" when he spotted him. Ross compared the expression to the look DJ Vlad wore when he was involved in a physical altercation with associates of Ross.

After that response from 50, Ross said he decided not to approach the G-Unit head.

"When I finally got the opportunity to bump into him, I planned to have words, but he disappointed me, so I kept it moving," Ross said.

Ross reiterated at the end of the interview again how shocked he was by 50's response, which he characterized as poor.

"I was positive that couldn't be the response," Ross said.
