Paid Dues 2009 Next Weekend: Win Tickets! - By : Rud - March 22, 2009

This years Paid Dues independent hip-hop festival, promoted by MURS 3:16 in association with Guerilla Union (Rock The Bells, Cypress Hill Smoke Out), is once again proudly sponsored by Dubcnn. For the fourth consecutive year, the event -- which has been dubbed "independent hip-hop's premiere festival -- will be held at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, California on March 28th 2009.

This year's line-up includes headliners Atmosphere and Tech N9ne, with supporting acts consisting of Living Legends, B-Real, Brother Ali, Cage, LMNO, Blu & Exile and Eyedea & Abilities, among others - with Visionaries' 2Mex set to host.

"This year's Paid Dues line-up is very special to me because we have acts like Tech N9ne and Atmosphere, who I've been big fans of and also trying to book forever," said Murs of the annual event. "The show also marks the So-Cal return of [Eyedea & Abilitie], who haven't played the NOS since the legendary Wu-Tang reunion at the 2004 Rock The Bells. Cage, B-Real and [The Grouch and Eligh] all have new records dropping this spring."

With three years of history already since first launching Paid Dues, Murs reflects. "I just can't believe this is our fourth year! I am so thankful to all our family, friends and supporters. And I look forward to making this March 28th another great and memorable moment in hip-hop history."

Guerilla Union founder, Chang Weisberg, is also excited, saying this year should be the festival's biggest to date. "I can't wait to see all these acts. I truly believe this is the biggest and best line-up yet..." he says.

Since that comment Paid Dues have added to that line up with the addition of the buzz-worthy supergroup, Slaughterhouse, which consists of lyricists Joe Budden, Royce Da 5'9", Joell Ortiz, and Crooked I. For the first time, the audience at PAID DUES will witness the exclusive West Coast premiere performance of Slaughterhouse.

Want to be part of that? Well as proud media sponsors Dubcnn are offering 2 General Admission tickets to the show this coming weekend - March 28 at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, California.

This is a SOLD OUT EVENT so your only chance of a ticket is to get involved and enter the contest using the below link.

Well, they are doing group songs and solo songs and have been rehearsing for a couple weeks now, it's going to be more than 5 mins.

I've seen Tech N9ne perform live, and I can tell you it will probably be worth it just to see him.  Tech puts on a hell of a live show.  He definately goes all out to give people their money's worth.  Hopefully they'll give him a lot of time so he can do a lengthy set.  Because if it's anything like his own shows, it will be worth it.  And of course, Slaughterhouse is going to be there.  Those two reasons alone should be enough to make anyone who can, want to go.  Actually the whole damn line up looks pretty good.  But I can tell you from experience, Tech puts on a great show.

'Guarantees' got play on mtv. but impressive numbers nonetheless!

I got my VIP tix already 8) Driving down from Fresno.

I'm excited to see Atmos, Tech(he's cancelled the past 2 shows in my city), Living Legends, Ali, B-Real, Cage, Blu & Ex, and of course Slaughterhouse.

Does anybody knoe if Dubcnn is gonna have a booth?
