yeah, he literally outshined snoop and warren and I liked both of them. But Nate was really amazing on this record. his verse on "another summer" is  :o³ multiplied with  8)²

Completely agreed. He was easily the best part of the album. That project was a train wreck the moment they signed with TVT of all companies. And then Warren G not producing a single track. But still, it's a very good album and Nate Dogg REALLY shines on it.

My favorite hooks have to be:

Run On Up
Groupie Luv
Lonely Girl
Joysticc
Mary Jane
MLK
My Dirty Ho
So Fly

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he produce "Dolla Dolla Bill" which was like a leaked single for the project? That joint was hot. Warren G was still making hot west coast beats around this time IMO.

He was the only good part of what was a real let down of an album. Snoop and Warren just coasted through the whole album. This was the start of snoop turning wack. And the production was boring. So fly is my fucking jam

Nate was phenomenal on this album. I got goosebumps on many tracks. I am right there with King Petey on cosigning this album when it came out. I loved it from first listen and consider it one of my personal classics even though it had mixed reception on here and with critics. Just got a framed poster of the 18x24 album cover. It was finished the afternoon before Nate's death. How horribly ironic is that...  :-\

What? Warren did exeptionally well on the rapping part (by his standarts). And the production is smooth as well. Very good album with some exeptions like "My Dirty Hoe".
