man jay rock album is hard and all you haters need to stop it and support this. ive read all the reviews and all of them was good plus the westcoast got an album out for the 1st time in a while.

where you been? westcoast albums come out all the time

any of them worth to listen?
any of them has the mix&mastering quality of "follow me home"?
i can download the others, but this one is something i would like to pay for...

What the dude above me said. Plus Coss Before I Awoke, Rakaa Crown of Thorns, Fashawn Boy Meets World, Strong Arm Steady In Search of Stoney Jackson, Davinci The Day the Turf Stood Still. There's tons of great music from the west coast that have come out in recent years. I can't really speak on mixing or mastering but frankly I wanna slap the people always talking about that. There's too many euros with sensitive eardrums.

I will check the albums u talked about... i hope i like...
when it comes to "mix&mastering"... i will teach you why it is so important...

this is the first mix of Renegade of Eminem which features Royce da 5'9''...

this is the last and official mix of Renegade of Eminem which features Jay-Z

first one is a good song... second one is a hit, a classic!!!
you can also see it when u compare 2 different mixes of 50 cent's "life's on the line" on power of da dollar and get rich or die trying albums

u listened to knoc-turnal's "knocsville" album?? its a good album, it has nice joints right?? but it sounds like a mixtape... it sounds like its recorded in a basement...

so,  don't slap poeople because of something u can't even speak about...

1. Intro - N/A
2. Code Red - 4/5 Really nice cut. Beat bangs
3. 'Bout That - 3.5/5 Not bad
4. No Joke - 3.5/5 Cool track

5. Hood Gone Love It - 3.75/5 I dig this
6. Westside - 3.75/5 This is cool too
7. Elbows - 4/5. This is dope, beat bangs again. So far 2 favorite tracks prod. by Phonix Beats.
8. Boomerang - 3.5/5. More of a southern feel. It's cool though.

9. All I Know Is - 4/5. This is real hood, hard, grimey. All of the above
10. I'm Thuggin' - 3/5. Pretty redundant and average.
11. Kill or be Killed - 5/5. Jay Rock raps really tight on his. Probably his personal highlight on this album. Tech kills this too! Best/hook fire as well. Best track on the album.
12. Just Like Me - 4.5/5. This is real hard again. I dig this in a major way. J. Black kills this. This is a smooth ass Terrace Martin beat.

13. Say Wassup - 3.5/5. Hook is so so. Beat is real cool. This is alright overall.
14. They be On It - 3.5/5. Beat is alright. Kendrick Lamar drops a tight ass hook.
15. M.O.N.E.Y. - 4/5. J Black sings a great hook once again. Again, a rapping highlight on the album for Jay Rock. Jay Rock/Terrace Martin have some fantastic chemistry.
16. Finest Hour - 4/5. BJ the Chicago Kid is a nice hook singer. The beat is tight and fits Rick Ross pretty well. This is a nice feature. Smooth track overall.

17. Life's a Gamble - 4/5. Beat is cool. Hook is a nice, is that Ab-Soul? very good.
18. All My Life - 4.5/5. Always really liked this. Felt like it could have been bigger with a major label radio push. Glad it's still on the album. I like the OG hook better though.

Overall this is a very nice debut album. Beats, rhymes, hooks, etc, everything is well put together. And it doesn't sound like a compilation, sounds like a real album. Everything remains pretty consistent throughout.

I'm very happy for Jay Rock that he finally got this released.

Strange Music was a good move for him.

say wassup is the best track on the album.

song structure was amazing, and rock's verse isnt so bland and boring. kendrick is the only artists imo that has the chance of blowing up.

black hippy is dope as fuck, i like black hippy as a group more than their individual work, (exlcuding kendrick)

dont get me wrong, theres tracks where rock goes hard, but it doesnt nercessarily make the song good, usually its just too bland and boring.
