1.  “Beware of My Crew” — spit fire, shined on a track with LBC in its prime

2.  “Krazy” - only DPG to make it on a classic album and legendary track

3.  “The Last Time” - one of the great sort of RIP reminisce type cuts

4.  “Putting It Down” - album didn’t blow up but this was the closest he came with lead single off debut 90’s album featuring Snoop at a time when Snoop was transitioning from Death Row to No Limit

5.  “Gang Bang Ass” another blazing DPG/LBC Crew cut devastated the game and lit Daz first album

6.  “Gold Rush” one of Doggfathers best moments in otherwise disappointment album

7.  “Wrong Idea” shit man this song appeared on his and Snoops album was one of Bad Azz best

8.  “Ghetto Star” Bad Azz got fucced out of his luck, a Pac verse in those days could’ve probably pushed him to gold back then but it was blocked and the solo version was almost even better

*******

"I will make records as big or bigger than Death Row".   -Dre, Source 1996

"I didn't do nothing but make people money and I didn't leave nobody high and dry.  Any album (on death row) people are going to check for.  But it's time for Dre to worry about Dre.  I'm focused on the new Snoop Doggs, not like that but you know what I mean."

Dre -  Source 1996 cover

"Eminem will be bigger than Michael Jackson as long as he doesn't change."

-Dre, Rolling Stones mag 1999 Em cover

Got introduced to him on his features on Doggfather.

Absolutely loved his first 2 albums, and then after that (unfortunately) the production sucked and we didn't see Bad Azz at his top tier.

Everything he was featured on was generally fantastic, like Tha Eastsidaz' 2 albums...

Its sad that everyone on IG (his DPGC gang) are posting tributes etc but I see he has  a Gofundme page for his funeral. Whilst its not Snoops responsibility to help out anyone in the shit, financially or otherwise, I would have hoped Daz, Kurupt etc all put $1k in and dealt with the matter.

RIP MR BAD BAD CARABINO....

one of my favorite joints was Bad Azz version of "I'd Rather Lie To Ya" which appeared on RAW as a Daz track
