i know that
m3u- is a playlist file

but what is

msinfo document
sfv file

i've also seen

message files and folders

any info on this is much appreciated.  just curious if they have any use or if there even worth keeping.  thanks and peace!! 8)

a .nfo file is a txt file, it contains information about the release.. they use funny characters (old school DOS ones) I use an nfo view called "damn nfo viewer" you can get it here > http://www.damn.to/software/nfoviewer.html

the sfv contains crc32 checksums for the files in the release, using a sfv checker you can verify the release isnt corrupt

ignore the msgs and folders stuff..

yea i just delete all that shit usually and just keep the music... i ain't downloaded nuthin' off mirc that was corrupted yet but a movie one of the files was corrupt so i deleted it...
