a .nfo file is a txt file, it contains information about the release.. they use funny characters (old school DOS ones) I use an nfo view called "damn nfo viewer" you can get it here > http://www.damn.to/software/nfoviewer.htmlthe sfv contains crc32 checksums for the files in the release, using a sfv checker you can verify the release isnt corruptignore the msgs and folders stuff..
