« on: May 24, 2001, 04:01:11 PM »

intro nothin special
the watcher most underated track on album, only solo, extreme dopeness, GREATTT 5+
fuck u-great g funk beat snoop and devin are tight, dres verse lacks, ncie chorus 5+
still dre-first single really good, love it 5
xxplosive-everyone hates kurupt on this, he cusses like 203480390 times, song is still better than average, hittman sings, nate brings this up severly 4
whats the difference-one of my favorites, xzibit rips it, em rips it, dre tells a cool story about eazy and doc, dope beat 5
bar skit-bla
light speed-very futuristic beat, i luv it, dope song 4.5
forgot about dre- CLASSIC, i dont care if trl played it out, its very dope, 5+++
next episode-my personal fav from the album, very nice, i wish i never heard tashs song fallin off, now i know that dre just stole this beat basically..but still great song 5+
lets get high-alot of peoples less fav on album, but its still very good..kurupt comes dope..hittman mrs roq and dre too nice beat 4
bitch niggaz-tooooo slow for me, but still a good song 3.5
car bomb-skit
murder ink-extreme dopenes, voices are changed with some machine hittman and roq tear it up over this halloween sampled beat  4.6
eddie skitthing
la niggaz-very good sog, all the rappers come tight, expecially xzibit and king t, defari too..very unique and tight beat 5
pause 4 porno hahahaha
hos a housewife-good song, too bad its on kurupt album too, 4.5
ackrite-i like this beat, fits hittman perfectly, i dig this classic 5
bang bang-extreme dope beat again, this  is amazing i luv this....one of the better songs to me, cool chorus but it gets old 5
the message-nice beat, not by dre though, this is dedicated to his brother, cool song 4

overall this album is a classic fa sho. i dont think its better than the chronic, but i think it is close, it will change rap, and has started with the melodies and instruments used alot such as the clean guitar...dre is so important to rap and i cant wait for detox....

beats: 10 out of 5 (makes up for lyrics)
lyrics: 3 out of 5
originality: 7 out of 5

best songs:
watcher still dre
whats the difference
forgot about dre
next episode
la niggaz
fuck u

worst song:
bitch niggaz
So much style back at it again

Here's my evaluation homie...

Classic Songs (5/5):  "Still DRE", "Forgot About Dre"

Least Favorite Tracks:  "Let's Get High" & Bitch Niggaz"

Overall Rating...9.5/10

Superior production on both Dre's & Mel-Man's parts.

yo narrator you skiped "big egos" in your review. I like everything on there except light speed. I would give it a 9.5. Lets get high is a good party song. Gotta have the party song.   However it doesn't fit in, and would probably do better off the album. You guys probably just hate bitch niggaz cause the beat was always on at dre2001.com. I swear it made me not want to listen to that song anymore.

Great review except I disagree with you about Bitch Niggaz. Light Speed was the worst track in my opinion. Other than that classic album.

Niggas don't fight no more!
before hip hop was all about drama
anything for a dollar before Kane fucked Madona
Maintain and stayed bent like a comma
Just me and my bottle
we shall lead not follow
Emcees be full of shit

"" Murder Ink " Fuckin wicked beat
"" Fuck you" Snoops da bomb in that track

I'd give this 4 mics. some of the album can get old, but tracks like xxxplosive (greatest beat on album), the watcher, bang bang, and bitch ni**az make it a high quality album.

I don't see what's funny with my response to this post, dre2001 is a fine cd but it ain't no where near a classic. Again, I ain't tryin to start shit cuz i dont want to fuck up this board with that garbage.
