he cant afford to put out a sub-standard artist. full stop. or his reputation as a hit making exec is gone.. so he gotta sit till he's got a sure thing to put him back in the game.

Yeah, it's the two things combined, imo. I mean, Death Row will be dead and gone the day they'll keep releasing albums like the ones supposed to drop from Tha Realest, Eastwood, NINA, YGD, Kurupt (or to say it better... the artist once known as Kurupt), just to try to back in the game. That's the day i'll declare Death Row dead. Since they aint releasing shit, they aint dead yet. They're just "sleeping". And imo they're doing it cause they can.
