Ford explorer sport or Honda Civic?

Hey guys... need a little car help. I have a 2004 Honda Civic and im sick of it. I want to sell it and buy a used Ford explorer sport. The thing is, I know so little about this car. I dont want to get fucked over with a car that needs repairing every monday and thursday so to speak. Do you guys know anything about the explorer sport. Any real advice would be appreaciated. Thanx

ford explorers are really good cars, my girlfriend and my cousin both have one, for a little SUV that 5.0 engine it has in it is a good one


if you plan on customizing it though it's going to be a pain cuz they don't make that many parts for em, and to repair them can be pricy i know, so if you wanna go that rout just stick with your rice rocket .  but do what you wanna do

I know... I dont know if this is worth it... keeping my car could save me 100's of $ from gas but I fucken hate driving it. Its not even safe...

if i was you i would keep the civic a couple years, put some cash in bank and buy a brand new explorer hybrid in 2-3 years. Stay the fuck away from used cars

Don't buy an SUV unless you're ok with the gas price and a larger tank to fill up.

being that you are a girl, get either an Rsx, toyota cellica, or a jetta (least reliable of the 3).. or just pimp out your civic, i WOULD NOT get hte ford, i hate american cars, its a gas guzzler, not reliable.

I don't really trust American cars as far as reliability.  Although I really wanna get a H2 lol.  I think Ford makes the best looking trucks, but from what I've heard, Toyota makes the best product.  4Runners seem to hold thier value pretty good.  I don't know tho, do whatever the fuck you want.  Go look at some consumer reports.
