A summer without rations/
treckin through ashes/
Another day goes by/
From the sly sway of another lie/
Shy in the face of fear, why try/
Foundations biult unfirmed are wrecked/
Irational desicions at a moments guess/
Regrets fill every grown man's steps/
Until burried in oceans of depth/
New identities are formed/
Centuries of libraries, burried and burned/
Time moves on/
The chimes become long/
the old man yawns/
Man forgets at every new dawn/
If he's fortunate and recieves Allah's barakat/
If not he swims in sea's of regret/
Somethin we aren't understandin/
Wantin something but not planning/
Planning, but frontin and never getting/
Finally achieving and then dismissing/
Subconscious is wishin but too deepening/
in the depth of the empty spaces of minds/
