sonned or ethered

Although "ethered" is now the popular thing to say, I think it's the better word. Sonned was always corny which is why I refused to add it to my vocab.

sonned is pretty cool, it's degrading, and means nothing, yet fits the lashing perfectly... does sonning as a word exist ? or does it come from son ? coz when i see sonned, i dont think sunned...
