no doubt Cube. too many classics & too much talent lol. seriously the fact that hes not really in the music biz right now helps his legacy in my opinion. instead of pumpin out bullshit like snoop does, cube doesnt so he kinda leaves on a high note. only cube album i feel is below average is "the peace disc". cube really was the essence of west coast hip-hop. he actually had a message in his songs. he wasnt superlyrical or didnt have a crazy flow, but he def. made his point across. u cant say that shit about snoop..

tupac is the late king. he cant be touched. someones gonna reply saying i gotta get off his nuts, but thats what it is. now, dr dre owns the west coast. cube is the king of hardcore followers, but i think dre is the king of the coast in terms of how respected and popular he is. cube is dope, but not a ton on non-hardcore fans bump him. dre gets love from sooo many people. hes the king right now, if pac isnt included. much respect to cube anyhow, hes definitely the runner-up, and snoop is up there too. if crooked i had put out some goddam albums by now he might be on his way. e40, the late mac dre, and yukmouth dont get nearly enough recognition for being the big figures that they are, but they are not on the same level as those other few i mentioned before in terms of acclaim, respect, and longetivity. dope, but just different IMO.

u could narrow that down to Quik and 40. Id say cube above all if he wasnt more an actor then rapper now. But Quik and 40 are the only two to really keep it westcoast with they shit. their loyalty to the west aint never been in question. cant say the same for Too Short, Snoop, and Dre.
