I've heard that the rapper just changed his name to "Face". It was in an italian hip-hop site. Is it confirmed?

Plus it's written that he will release an album next june probably called "The Redemption". Any infos on it?

Other rumors about him.. he wanted to hook up with Daz & Too Short to make a super-group. The source is Daz himself, from his infamouse Message Board. Wassup with it? Any news?

Scarface has told AllHipHop.com that he has changed his name from Scarface to simply Face because he felt it was time for a change. Face is currently working on his 7th album, The Redemption, which is schedualed to be released in June.

Legendary rapper Scarface recently revealed to AllHipHop.com that he has dropped the Scar from his name and is now just Face. When asked why the name change for the veteran after so many years, Face simply said he just wanted a change. Face is currently preparing his 7th solo album, titled The Redemption.

"This is definitely one of the best records ever of mine. It don't miss nothing," Face said. Face said that the album will feature cameo's from Nas and Jay-Z to name a few, as well as production from The Neptunes, Mike Dean and others.

"We have stepped it up 500 percent. We are gonna change the face of this shit" Face continued. "The Redemption" is slated for a June release on Def Jam South, the Atlanta based label that Face is President of. "I love Atlanta, even though right now I am in Houston. Shit, I love the entire United States!"

I heard about this and agree, this is most likely a contract issue with Rap A Lot.  He is dropping on Def Jam South so this could be a label move issue.  Good point.

Never Seen a Man Cry is one of my favorite songs. What Face is saying in that song I can feel 100%.

He already did a song with Too $hort and Daz awhile back that had a video. It was okay. I wouldn't mind seeing them hook up.
