Are y'all liking Quik's new style? Personally, I love it. I think ''Birdz & Beez'', ''Trouble'' and ''Everyday'' are hot as fuck(especially Trouble). Lately though I've noticed quite a few people sayin' they ain't feeling his new shit. So what's the deal?  ???

I think they are tight, DJ QUIk nas never dissapointed me. And anyway he has always changed his style after every album. Safe and Sound was straight gangsta, Balance and Options used alot of piano loops. Rhythmalism was alot of smooth shit. Quik is the name was gangsta too. and way 2 fonky well just look at the title. All of his albums have been different. and he has never dissapointed me. And still hasnt.

Aint nuthin wrong with his new style but I was a bigg Fan of  Rhythmalism cause it was really smooth and his new sound doenst have the  Rhythmalism flava. And I dont like the beat he did for the Truth, its like he tried to do a sound that can be dope just like Missy did with Tweet's "oops oh my"

I've always thought DJ Quik was ahead of his time.  "Trouble" is hot.  No doubt about it!

Quik's new style??  I had to really think about this before typing..  My question is.. what really would be considered, Quiks new production style?  Do we really know? or are we just assuming?

He did provided some discription in a recent interview (can't remember,) but Id really like to know.  Are we just assuming that because this song is new.. that this must be an example of Quiks "New Style?

If you ask me. Trouble doesn't feel too far off from the old Quik.  No doubt it's fat.. I'm just sayin..

So my question is.. (give up some feedback)
If this isnt too far from his old style.. How do you feel about classifying his new track with Truth Hurts??  Would this be safe to classify as "The New Quik?" or is it still too early to label?

Remember, that song with "Truth Hurts" is using a recycled Quik beat from AMG's latest album.  There are a few threads already addressing this issue so I won't get too involved.  It's Just a thought..

... kinda something to get everyone thinking.  Holla if you want.

The track he did with The Truth Hurts is the only new one from him I ain't feelin'. And another thing: I hardly ever see anybody posting about ''Birdz & Beez'', which is funky as fuck IMO. Am I the only one bumpin' it?  ??? For the dude that said he liked Quik's mellow shit, I'm wit' ya on this one. I don't think Quik would leave that sound all the way though. ''Trouble'' sounds smooth to me anyways.
