I don't mean to pull a myrealname but i was reading this weeks news on the dl and it had some good stuff in it so here goes.

Art imitating life? (Not very) Above The Law member Anthony "Total K-Oss" Stewart recently pleaded guilty to drug and child-endangerment charges, as he was arrested when Riverside CA. police seized over $250,000 worth of rock cocaine, one of the biggest seizures in the history of the city. Stewart faces 9 years in prison and will be sentenced 4-12-02. Even more ironic, Above The law will release their fifth LP, Dairy Of A Drug Dealer, this year on Tha Row Records.

In addition to having worked with Scott Storch, Timbaland and Havoc, the refurbished version of Ras Kass’s Van Gogh will also include production from DJ Premier and Hi-Tek!!! Priority also mentioned that Ras has recorded a track with Pharoahe Monch. Will 2002 finally be the year that Ras puts it all together? With a production line-up like that, there won’t be room for many more excuses. Look for Van Gogh to drop this summer (!).

“I’m not looking at you dudes, I’m looking past ya”… While Jay-Z has been tapped to direct the score of the forthcoming sequel to Scarface (?), four new Jigga tracks have been leaked online from his next solo-effort, The Gift and The Curse, which is slated to drop in November 2002.

DJ Quik’s new opus, Under the Influence, will drop on 5-7-02.

The Firm minus two? Though publicists from Universal declined to comment, closing out this week’s news is word that Universal has a Nas and AZ collaborative LP in the works…

Why are all these rappers having drugs on the streets? Are they really that stupid? If they already got money and are successfull, then they should think about how they could make more money safe.... And if they must push dope, they should have 5-10 trustable people who does that for em!!! Take over lands and shiiiet... How stupid can they be? Above the law, yeah right...
