Well, Scott's From Philly, Actually A Partial Member Of The Roots, So He's Originally East Coast Anyways.
Slum Village is off the hook .
Scott Storch produced a ton of The Roots stuff, the biggest example is "You Got Me", which won a grammy in 1999 for best rap collaboration (It beat Dr. Dre and Snoop, "Still Dre"). It was released before '2001', and even back then, he still had the signature sound before his dr. dre sessions, so it's important to see that Dre didn't teach Storch how to produce. That's a tight song, there. I love the drums at the end. It's got a really cool guitar all the way through it, too. Storch joined the Roots back around their first album, and later on, went by the Psuedonym "Kamal" so yall mighta heard of him as that. He played keys on their live album too.
