I hate this constant bullshit "King of NY, King of LA, King of the South, Prince of the South, blah blah blah.  FUCK THE HYPE.  How about, "Who's the dopest MC / Producer / Singer"?  The greatest female lyricist associated with the West is easily Lady of Rage.  She's from Virginia, but she was on Death Row which makes her guilty by association.

Was my answer as well. Girl has been killin it for quite sometime now. I was so happy to get ahold of her "Diamind In Da Ruff" album a year or two back. It has some real bangers and some nice west coast features on there as well......her's and Lil' Rob's remix to "Grillz" is getting major spins even up here in the NorthWest, so I'm sure it's blazing down in Cali. Don't sleep on her family! She's the real deal!
