Question about tha death row master tapes
« on: March 04, 2002, 04:36:38 PM »
I remember readin some where that daz said when he left death row he also got all tha songs he produced,  so that would include dogg food ,  tha shit he did for pac,  etc...  How tru is that.  An secondly,  say dre got tha master tapes for all tha shit he produced,  could he release on aftermath or would it have be like a joint record company type thing.  Would he be able to release tha chronic wit out tha death row lable or does it have to have both lables on there

Dre and Suge have an agreement tho.  If suge releases any of the recordings Dre made with the Row, they have to be in original form.  So suge can't fuck around and put the realest in the song.  So if death row ever releases the dre tapes, pleezebalieve they'll be hott!

I thought death row also couldnt release any previously unreleased dre tracks?

Wasnt that the reason the cronicle only had 12 tracks on it?

suge was not allowed to release dr.dre songs on the first chronic 2000 comp. (the one with the white cover). the chronicle was a death row europe release. i think they can only use released death row material.
