Great production throughout the album and she stepped her lyrical ability up a notch but still not classic like The Benzino version of The Source thought it was. What the fuck is up with her rapping like Eminem on "Quiet" though?

lil kim kinda lost the edge (not that she really ever had any) around the time BIG got popped (and therefore couldnt write verses for her anymore). call me a hater, i just dont feel her at all.

Anyway, the Lil Kim album was balls. I was expecting something nice after reading that Source review - I mean come on. You can't just get 5 mics for a garbage album, right? Well, apparently it is possible. I'm just wondering how much Kim paid The Source for that. Just 2.5 mics would have meant The Source had gone easy on Kim, but instead they decided to double that. The album sucked, plain and simple. All I can think of now when I hear her music, is "Shut up, bitch!"

She sounds like somebody else on every song I've heard off that album. Lighters Up = Damien Marley, the song with the "what you see is what you get" sample = TI, Quiet = Eminem.
