DubCC Top 100 East Coast Songs

NOTE: There are currently 304 different songs that have received at least one vote!

IMPORTANT: The following artists are not east coast - Common (Chicago), Eminem (Detroit), Bone Thugs-N-Harmony (Cleveland).

Alright, here's the deal. I just finished tracking down all of the songs on the DubCC Top 100 West Coast Songs list and have since been inspired by R-Tistic and Hail to Kill to attempt another such list, this time with an east coast theme. I know that Hail to Kill did a list similar to this, and the voting ended over a year ago, with no such list determined. I am not knocking Hail to Kill, I commend him for putting forth the effort. However, I think where the idea went wrong is that the list was to be compiled of the top 50 non-west coast songs. I think that's too hard because there are three other well known regions of hip hop aside from the west coast. My ultimate goal is to have a top 100 list for the east coast, midwest and down south songs of all time. I will start with east coast because it was mentioned long ago in the original west coast thread.

I wanted to throw one more reminder in here, even though this hasn't happened yet, this is not a hate thread. Please leave the discussion for the final list. I don't want the thread clogged up with people arguing about what songs are getting votes. Thanks.

Voting will last as long as needed to get a full array of east coast songs. Feel free to change your list as many times as needed until voting ends.

The scoring will be the same R-Tistic used for the west coast list, albeit slightly changed. See the list below for how points will be awarded.

I will also gladly take the time to track down every song mentioned and provide them for download to the forums. Thanks again to all who decide to participate!
