the main forum moderators were elected by the members of the board.

The others were chosen because they initially expressed an interest in running that section, or were specifically chosen.

In either case... no one gets the job just by asking.

Overseer I was merely illustrating that there is users around who have been around longer than KVB that have no positions. Perhaps passed over was the wrong phrase to use but I couldn't think of another to get my point across. I apologize for offending you your higness.
