why is it wow? their first album dropped 16 years ago so itīs not like anyone couldīve thought that he was born in 1979 or something.

I remember at least one interview from around the time "Menace II Society" came out and "Streiht Up Menace" was blowing up on radio (in '93) which mentioned he was 23 at that time.  I figured that meant he was born in 1970.  But celebs (rappers included) lie about their age all the time.

BTW, NEVER trust Wikipedia...Spider Loc's page says (or said) he was born in 1968, when he's said himself he was born in 1979.

yeah he's old...dunno fo sho if THAt old but i know he's an o g and by the time he played in menace ii society wasn't a youngster so..67 might be true...

I don't see why everyone is surprised. That makes him 39 at the oldest. Hell, Dre is over 40 and he's going to be releasing another record. DMC just released a solo record and so did Rev Run and they're both in their 40s.

Yeah, look at Dre.  If Eazy was still alive he'd be over 40.  Ice T is mid-late 40's.  Those OG's gotta get older! ;D

T turned 48 in February.  He's pretty much the oldest nigga rapping that I'm aware of, in the West or anywhere.

Also, E-40 is going to be 39 this year, and I believe Big Hutch turns 39 this year as well (or maybe 38).  Kid Frost is 41 now, gonna be 42 in a few months.  I also know Tray Deee turned 40 recently (and by the time he's out of prison and able to record agian, he'll be 50).  So yeah, a lotta the O.G.s' from the West Coast are entering their 40s' or already there.
