i been ready some of that why 2pac is so over rated thread....

n come on y'all u all act like pac was the only socially conscious rapper ever lived there r plenty of them out there you just don't wanna know...

2pac made a big impact because he was all in the media thru his court cases n contiversy n shit thats where his fan base has come from n he had good music to back it up although i don't rate him as the greatest...the greatest rapper is probably some1 u never heard of who just raps in the shower or some shit.

also mentioned in the thread was about if eminem died he'd go down as 1 of the greats and some1 laughed at the idea, but i already put him up there u look at his lyrical skills especially in his earlier work its just amazing ppl still seem to focus on him being white in the head even if they ain't sayin it they can't take him seriously enough. i can look past all i wouldn't care if he was black white or mexican he is still my favourite mc and 1 of the best if not the best in the game right now.

but i ain't gone deviate from the topic too much, gettin back to pac my opinion is it went down hill when he joined the row he became an image sure he got alot more exposure but he was a puppet for suge. its amazing how he made so many songs in such a short time but the quality wasn't there in all of them thats y i have been against all these albums apon albums being released since he died cos they wern't ment for release its a discredit to his name...i mean come on he was signed to a 3 album deal theres been by the next album there will have been 9 cds since his death that makes 12 4 times his contract wtf. the greatest hits is understandable n maybe an album or 2 after his death would be alrite but its just cashin in on the name n nuthin more plus they shudn't be coming out on tha row they shud got entirly to his mum n let he do wat she wishes with it. bored of typin now....

2pac was in the media alot before he joined Death Row, who knows how many court cases he had to go to. and i dont even wanna argue about the so called "ignorance about pac" for crying out loud there was almost 100 replies on how 2pac is overated. let it go just let it go

I don't think there's ignorance towards why people here think 'Pac was the greatest, or one of the greatest, which ever you prefer, BUT when I state why I think he is I feel I give a detailed oppinion that you can respect even if you don't agree with what i'm saying, & thats what I respect if your going to slate him, a detailed oppinion stating why, not just a simple "I don't think he is". I love plenty of MC/rappers, not as much as I feel 'Pac but then thats just my personal preference. I do agree on what you were saying about the material being released after his death, especially when it's being remixed & messed up in some cases.
