I wish Hip Hop would go back to this format. I really hate this multiple producers on one album idea, 1 or 2 is perfect. The albums don't seem cohesive or complete if it's crammed with different producers. They are all over the place which is why less and less albums are becoming classics. Sometimes it can turn for the worst though ie. Eminem producing Loyal To The Game

And let me add to your point in saying that the reason that Eminem producing "Loyal To The Game" didn't work is that 2pac and Eminem never knew eachother and there was no chemistry between the two.The best case scenario for an album is when one producer handles a whole album, and that producer has some chemistry and frendship with the artist they are producing.
NO IT's b/c the beat sucked and the em sucks as a producer for the most part but he does put out the occasional banger. back to the question at hand

The proof of that is his work on the first D-12 record where he handled most of the tracks and the Eminem Show where he handled all but 3 tracks.
