^ i'm a hard worker, if it means i will find work easier because more employers are willing to take the risk to hire me.. then YES i want bill ! 2 years isnt a long time ! plus if you survive in the work-force during that time, dont you think it would look good on a resume ?

look at the bigger picture.

and GENERALLY speaking, older people are more mature, they are more experienced, thats it.

you goto be missing a chromozone to think the bill is hurting the country.

You sound coerced man, straight intimidated, if you don't want the same rights as 95% of the rest of the workers got.
Notice that I'm not defending the protests, cuz I understand that many of the protesters are organized thugs and rebels who wants to riot and create chaos, but I still say fuck that bill, if you want to give up your rights and accept being subdued because of your age, then go ahead, be my guest.

and theyre not organised thugs... they are 15 year old kids smashing up cars.

If you're a hard worker you will keep the job even without a trial contract or "rookie contract", if you're a bad/lazy worker, you can still get fired today, this new bill only makes the firing part easier for the company, with less risks for the company, and practically without consequences.
"Surviving" 2 years in a company looks good on the resume, yes, but that doesn't mean that you need to accept to be stripped for your rights! Stand up and be a man!

There's been reports of organized "professional protesters" travelling around and organizing riots through phone, and other funny business, it's far from just 15 year old kids, dunno what news story you been watching. But still: Not defending the protests, I'm defending workers rights, you sound to be more concerned about the companies.  8)

france is always on strike or rioting over something their government is weak and will nearly always cave in eventually.

--- Quote from: Real American on March 29, 2006, 02:47:10 PM ---This just proves how worthless the French are. That is what happens when you live in a left wing, socialist country. All the restrictions they have on employement are killing their economy. Look at their economic growth rates and unemployment rates compared to the US....the American economy blows their economy out of the water.

The French government has finally woken up and tried to make their economy more modern like the US but unfortunately these French youths don't like it. But in the long run, their government has to make changes in order to become more competitive with the erest of the world. The reason the unemployment rate is so high in France is because no companies want to hire people that the government tells them they won't be able to fire.

in ten years the commercial deficit of the united states reached 3 000 000 000 000 000 000 $US ( that means you buy for 60 billions$ more than you sell each month) , China, saudi arabia and israel owns a lot of this beautiful country. I'm glad i'm not american cuz yall is in some deep shit. But you don't seem to realise it. The biggest debt in the world, the biggest defficit, etc.
