Legal to kill Mormans

I'm a student at SDSU and on our free speech steps we get all kinds of characters (even mormans).  I was waiting for my friend to get out of class to go to lunch and I was waylayed by a morman.  I gave him some time and let him pitch me his religion.  The only thing I remember him saying was that it was legal to kill a Morman in Utah up until about 30 years ago.  Apparently an extermination act was signed back in the 19th century (1800's) much like the one put into law against Native Americans.  But unlike the law against Native Americans the Morman extermination act wasn't changed until someone shot a Morman in the head back in the 70's and got off because of the law.  I could hardley contain my laughter.
