I've never heard of Brace. I only know Brainpower and a few other Dutch MC's but I forgot their names. One of them had a 'hit' with "Kutmarokkanen" or something...I don't really follow the Dutch Hip-Hop scene. I prefer French over Dutch rap music actually...

@ Fressh_Deini: yeah, they opened up for Kanye West here in Belgium 3 weeks ago. I actually wanted to buy their album after the concert at the shop-stands but it was nowhere to be found. I thought the album simply wasn't released then, but it is?
I really liked their performance, and so did the rest of the crowd. Creative Hip-Hop...

ye dutch hiphop is garbage, like lange frans, baas b, brutus,THC, ali-b, yes-r, that fat guy dissing ali-b wit his song "ik en ali-b"


but there are some dope once like brainpower, extince,opgezwolle (alhoewel sommige van jullie ze nix vind  ik noem ze tog ) , Jawat, Negativ (zelfde als bij opgezwolle )

Sum of them actually have a good flow I think and I respect 'em 4 that but I just don't fuck wit Dutch hip hop or R&B 4 that matter it soundz 2 corny...

Gotta give it up 4 Def P from tha Osdorp Posse though he'z tha Godfather of Dutch hip hop 2 me (if there'z such a thang)...

"Vlijmscherp" by Osdorp is actually one of the first Hip-Hop albums I've bought. I was 12 at the time...that album is raw! Them dudes can spit...
Brainpower is a talented lyricst but as far as I know a lot of people don't respect him because he's 'commercial'. Who fucking cares? Even in his commercial songs he still proves he's capable of writing some dope lyrics, whereas many commercial artists from the U.S. dumb down for their audience. Brainpower doesn't do that...he stays lyrical, even when he goes commercial. You gotta respect him for that...

Besides, the fact that Nas hooked up with him is proof that he's talented. Nas doesn't hook up with anybody...
