there have been a few good this year:
CunninLynguists-A_Piece_of_Strange
Aceyalone and RJD2 - Magnificient City
Apathy-Eastern_Philosophy (props to elevz for telling me about it :))

So far I think the Ghostface album has been the best to come out and Rhymefest has been second.  TI and LL were both average.
