Hot multi-platinum record producer Jonathan "J.R." Rotem is in the potentially uncomfortable position of working with rapper 50 Cent and 50's ex-protégé, The Game -- who started their very public feud more than a year ago. Both are saying they've moved past their conflict. Rotem just says he tries "not to get involved in those things.
"I think in general people in the industry realize their beefs are their own, and at the end of the day they want to work with good producers," adds the man who is producing songs for 50 Cent and his G-Unit Records posse, as well as for The Game's upcoming new album. Rotem's credits speak for themselves. In just the last year the classically trained pianist, who got his start producing for Destiny's Child, was the mastermind behind some 60 tunes recorded by such hip-hop artists as 50 Cent, Fabolous, Mya, Jojo, Foxxy Brown, Busta Rhymes, Talib Kweli -- and including the latest singles from Rihanna and Lil' Kim (cq all).
On a front burner now for G-Unit, he says, "I'm doing Mobb Deep's album, and I'm also working on albums for Young Buck, MOP and Olivia."
As for The Game (real name Jayceon Taylor) -- - who's currently under Grammy-winning veteran rapper/producer Dr. Dre's wing -- Rotem says, "His album is going to be incredible. From what I can tell it's going to be a monster."

Like Jay-Z said, "It's like New York's been soft ever since Snoop came through and crushed the buildings..." But Busta Rhymes and a bunch of others have been pushing hard to bring New York rap back to prominence while the South dominates.
Busta takes it a step further with his new single "New York S**t" from his forthcoming album "The Big Bang" (Aftermath/Interscope). The song bigs up the Big Apple, the birthplace of hip-hop.
Swizz rhymes on the hook: "If you from New York, stand up rght now/If you from New York, hands up right now." The producer tells Jaded Insider, "There’ll be a video. Benny boom is directing it, I think. I’m still looking over treatments [but] we should do it later this month."...It seems likely that the remix will feature a bunch of New York rappers.

IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED THAT INTERSCOPE HAS PUSHED "THE BIG BANG" TO JUNE 06, 2006.

Video for Ny shit and again a remix with bunch of other rappers? Dont like this at all. The song is not commercial enough and the LP will get pushed back again.
What happened to that I Love My Bitch song being the new single?
