Due to the events that transpired on WWE Monday Night RAW, Zack Ryder will no longer be able to compete at Battle of the Barons.

While RAW has one less member, WWE's Smackdown will have the following members in the 40-Man Great Battle Match:
"Harlem Heat" Booker T
"Dashing" Cody Rhodes
"The Viper" Randy Orton
"The Great White" Sheamus
"The Hart Dungeon Graduate" Tyson Kidd
"The Phenom" Undertaker
"Barrett Barrage" Wade Barrett

WCCWL Battle of the Barons Results

*Fireworks explode in the building as the fans are on their feet, chanting for WCCWF’s Battle of the Barons event. The theme song, Dark Horses by Switchfoot, plays throughout the building as SM and JBL welcome all the viewers to the show. As the fans start to settle into their seats, SM & JBL quickly mention the card. With the fans settled into their seats, we go to ringside. We hear Mo Z. Dizzle’s music hit the speakers as the fans cheer for the WCCWF boss. Dizzle makes his way down to the ring and enters. Dizzle grabs a mic and begins to speak.*

Dizzle: Good evening ladies and gentlemen to WCCWF’s first event of 2012 and the annual Battle of the Barons event!! Tonight, we will witness one person survive longer than 39 others to become the new #1 contender to the WCCWF Title.

We will also have another historic moment tonight. You see, change is always required to prevent things from becoming stagnant. And what better time to make a change in the WCCWF than the first event of 2012? Now I’m guessing you’re all wondering what the change is. Well take a look at the screen.

*An image pops up*


Dizzle: It’s a brand new logo! But something seems different, doesn’t it? That’s because the WCC Wrestling Foundation will now be known as the WCC Wrestling League; WCCWL for short! And the WCCWL will go on to reach new heights!
That being said, let us get the surprises aren’t done. And that is because M Dogg’s mystery opponent has made a deal with me. If his opponent wins, he will enter as the #40 into the Great Battle Match. However if he loses, he will #1 in the match. So without any further delay, let’s get the event underway!!

*Dizzle drops the mic and exits the ring.*

Match 1: M Dogg vs. ??

*M Dogg’s theme hits the speakers first as the WCCWL Champion makes his way out with the title around his waist. The fans boo him as he makes his way to the ring and enters. M Dogg climbs to the second turnbuckle and taunts the crowd before preparing for the match. M Dogg then waits to see who his mystery opponent is. After a few moments, we hear Mafioso’s theme hit the speakers. Fans give him a fairly positive reaction as he makes his way down, giving high-fives to the fans. Mafioso enters the ring and climbs to the second turnbuckle, playing to the crowd some more. Mafioso then gets off the turnbuckle and prepares for the match. The bell rings to begin the match…*

The Match:
We see M Dogg charge towards Mafioso. Mafioso delivers a drop-toe hold and sends M Dogg face-first into the middle turnbuckle. As M Dogg staggers towards the middle of the ring while holding his face, Mafioso charges off the ropes and delivers a running-leaping-shoulder-block. Mafioso goes for a pin but only gets a one-count. As M Dogg gets to his feet, Mafioso springboards off the ropes and delivers a kick to knock M Dogg to the mat again. Mafioso then climbs to the turnbuckle and waits for M Dogg to get up. As M Dogg gets to his feet, Mafioso flies off the top looking to nail a crossbody. M Dogg catches Mafioso. M Dogg then sets Mafioso on his shoulders and delivers a Samoan Drop. M Dogg then takes a few steps away and checks his face to make sure he’s okay. M Dogg then waits for Mafioso to get to his feet. As Mafioso gets up, M Dogg charges over and delivers a spear. M Dogg then covers Mafioso and gets the three-count to win the match!

Winner of the Match = M DOGG

After the Match:
The ref raises M Dogg’s hand and hands him his WCCWL Title. The ref then checks on Mafioso. SM & JBL mention that Mafioso will now be the #1 entrant in the Great Battle Match which is only moments away. M Dogg exits the ring and makes his way backstage.

*With Mafioso in the ring clutching his head, we see Lauren make her way onto the stage. Lauren mentions that a new participant will enter every 90 seconds. Lauren announces that Mafioso is the #1 entrant. Laurent then announces that the #2 entrant is…P. NELSON! Nelson makes his way out is and booed by the fans. SM & JBL mention that Nelson was #1 last year and is #2 this year. Nelson enters the ring and taunts the crowd. The bell rings and the match is underway…*
