eminem usually has a 'video edit' where he changes the yrics slightly so that it doesn't have to be cendored on tv. one example is 'guilty consience' and 'my name is' both of which still needed further censorship anywayz!!

but u gotta accept that a lot of young kidz watch music channels also and that sh** does have to be censored...but i think it should be the same for music as for films...after 9 they can show what they like. this could be allowed already but then the original videos are sometimes censored so it will not make a difference anyway...example: on dre special cds (2001 special & the chronicle) the videos are still censored.(except 4got about dre)

u gotta understand that stupid things are som etimes censored because of the nature of meaning eg. a love song artist can say 'all the pain you caused me' and they will allow that but when eminem says '...i cut myself....the pain is such a sudden rush for me' pain is censored out.

according to my mum too...it depends on the artist. there was some kind of pop guy did a song with i think it was wycleaf and he talks about 'cops are comin for me, betta pull out my gat'...that wasn't censored. but when dre says 'i was strapped with gats' they censor the word gat. my mum told me thats cos it's dre and his music is/was associated with gangsta rap. but if u ask me it's fuckin ridiculous cos dre is only saying he had gats on him and the other guy is talking about shooting the POLICE!!

anotherone that pisses me off is how rappaz can't say 'ass' but artists like pink can say 'you'll be kissing my ass' but like my mum told me...it depends on the nature of what is being said and the background of the artist.

it's all wrong...it should be like porn channels...put a channel on where videos aint censored and they sound ok...and if parents don't want their kids to see it...put a parental lock on the channel.

ps. mtv bass sometimes allows the odd 'bitch' and 'nigga' at all times even in the morning!
