no, flair is actually retired now.
he's taking time off TV for some show on CBS.

when he returns, he'll probably have a role similar to Austin or Mick FOley (i.e. promos, guest appearances; possibly some matches).
the only difference that may be is that Flair might show up a bit more, but who knows for certain.

He realizes that he is 60 years old and still in good health (unlike Terry Funk and the small list of wrestlers who are his age). I think he really is done wrestling, at least on a regular basis.

that wouldn't be a good thing for them to have that big retirement send off, just for him to come back and wrestle again... a GM or Manager role would be cool though. He could be like Harley Race was in WCW...

Flair is gone for good. He is focusing in his new business, and may show up as a mentor to a young wrestler. I'd say have him manage Triple H again to a title reign well getting a couple of other young stars and Flair could have a great stable.

Big Daddy V sent home to lose weight:

source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

WWE has sent Big Daddy V home to lose some weight. The company is worried about V's health and have been considering sending him home for quite some time. He was not in Orlando for WrestleMania weekend. He was originally booked to play a major part in the WrestleMania battle royal and was going to begin a program with Kane following the PPV.

King of the Ring returns this week on the special 3-hour Raw.

I'll finally get to catch Raw after a few weeks.

Statement:

The Ultimate Warrior Announces His Return To Pro Wrestling

Staggering news resounded in the NWE Arena during the Madrid show on April 19th. More than 15,000 fans had the chance to see the award presentation which celebrated the career of professional wrestling icon, The Ultimate Warrior; who was in attendance to accept his award. However, controversy erupted during the presentation when NWE Champion Orlando Jordan mocked a young fan of Warrior's at the event. Warrior was quick to come to the defense of this fan which led to a heated conflict between Warrior and Jordan.

On June 25th 2008 in Barcelona, after a 12 year absence from the ring, The Ultimate Warrior will officially make his wrestling comeback in a match against Jordan. The news was confirmed this morning by Warrior's agent, Bernie Gernay in a statement.

"For over 10 years this is what the entire wrestling world has been waiting for, the return of the Warrior. We are excited to bring back the greatest character and energy to ever get into the ring. Ultimate Warrior is an incredible marketing machine and has kept a tremendous value to his name which is why the NWE has stepped up with a substantial deal that worked very well for both sides. There is no disputing that Warrior left a mark on professional wrestling that no other talent did and the reason why still today he is often imitated, but never duplicated."

Over the next few days the NWE will inform fans of the preparations for one of the biggest and most important wrestling events ever to be held in Europe. As the news progresses it is sure to be the headlines of wrestling news and forums throughout the internet and will most certainly have all in the wrestling industry and fans alike in great anticipation to see what the Warrior will deliver on June 25th, and perhaps beyond.

Agent for The Ultimate Warrior

^ that chick is a knockout!!

Anyway... We now know why The King Of The Ring was free on USA this year... William Regal won. Had I paid for that, I would have driven to CT and busted windows at the WWE offices.  8)

Michael Hayes Suspended for 60 Days For Making a Racist Comment:

Source: PWInsider.com, prowrestling.net

WWE creative team member Michael Hayes has been suspended from the company for 60 days following an incident that took place in Orlando during Wrestlemania weekend. Hayes, the head writer of the SmackDown brand, allegedly used racist language towards SmackDown star Mark Henry.

The incident took place at a party that was held either Friday or Saturday night. Hayes had been drinking when he approached Mark Henry. Hayes told Henry, "I'm more of a n----- than you are." Henry took offense to the comment. After a physical altercation between the two, Henry reported the issue to either Vince or Stephanie McMahon.

At first, WWE tried to keep the suspension quiet. People who inquired were told that Hayes on vacation. However, when word got out about the incident with Henry, it was revealed that Hayes is suspended.

Yeah... Hayes needs tp get suspended for that. Your talent has to act right, but your front office people NEEDS to set the example. If front office people act this way, there must be punishment.
