I heard he got injured at the end of the match, so maybe WWE just got fed up.

Yeah, he hurt his wrist taking that RKO; sucks for him.
I'm guessing TNA may give him a shot; the schedule might be better, but they're more action-paced so he may get injured just as often lol.
