anyone know what is the "known" earliest fred wreck production? looking at his CV in the vault i cant see the one i found today while digging in the crates at my local record store...

Fredwreck C.V. http://www.dubcnn.com/connect/index.php?topic=90172.0

if it hadnt been for the hookup of the StreetFigher soundtrack then i would never have found this...i saw this cd in the record store today and the name jumped out because of the streetfigher soundtrack and picked it up and read the credits; saw they thanked Fred Wreck so thought, damn this was in '95...so i checked and he laced track 5, "Take A Look Around" - real smooth, mellow beat and they got some flows...really like this cd! King Tech is on the cd producing and mixing too!

found some info on them too...

Taking a cue from fellow Los Angeles alternative-to-gangster rappers the Pharcyde, the duo known as Brothas Unda Madness stirred things up on the stagnant West Coast platform in the mid-'90s. With some help from well-known California wake-up show hosts such as the Bay Area's Baka Boyz and L.A.'s King Tech, E-Vocalist and D-Wyze were able to gain a foothold in the West Coast underground scene. Their first single, "Elevation," borrowed freely from Teddy Pendergrass' bedroom anthem, "Close the Door," and paved the way for their critically acclaimed debut, Lyfe 'N' Tyme, released in May of 1995. On the album, the B.U.M.S exercised an intellectual hoodlum point of view combining street philosophy with B-boy posturing. The crew's straight-ahead delivery and multi-syllabic rhymes belied the relaxed flows of most West Coast artists of the era. Lyfe 'N' Tyme also featured the underground hits "Take a Look Around" and "6 Figures & Up." The duo also worked with Oakland's Saafir on the slamming B-side cut "Rain."

Diggfinger

Yeah that song is classic. Did Fred do other beats on that CD?

I think the song "Gangsta Rap" with Tha Dogg Pound feat. Fred Wreck represents some of his earliest work aswell. Think that is from around 96-97 too

That's a wicked album Rud - had it on tape when it dropped after reading The Source review of it. There's a great spoken word track near the end... is it called 'What Gives You The Right' or something?...

Speaking of Fred Wreck and the Street Fighter sdtrk, he also did a remix to the classic "Comewiddit" joint by the OG Golden State Warriors(Saafir, Ahmad, Ras Kass)...........that was the earliest I'd heard of him................
