April 29th, 1992 was a day that will never be forgotten in the City Of Angels. In the face of Rodney King trial injustice in which police officers were aquitted of one of the most horrible police brutality beatings caught on tape in Lake View Terrace, CA many of the feuding gangs of the streets of L.A. put aside their feuds and banded together.

Now some will question their actions which resulted in lootings and even many buildings being burnt down, and we are not here to debate such things. What we will bring to attention though is that for a moment many Bloods and Crips put down their weapons towards each other and for a time being a peace treaty existed.... and it all started on April the 29th...

Long Beach's Crooked I takes the time to reflect on such things in this nice smooth cut called "Gangsta's Holiday". Over a smooth laid back beat, the rhyme lyricist pours out his smooth delivery with the ease of a spring flowing down a mountain.
