Coolio appreciation thread

how come no one talks about coolio here? he from compton.....he released good albums......even had great songs like "gangsta's paradise" and "fantastic voyage"...i thought coolio was a good artist......so this is an appreciation to coolio who also helped the west in the mid-90s....

Coolio definitely has some dope music in his catalogue, the stuff he recorded with WC and the Maad Circle was mad dope

Coolio was a good artist indeed I liked his debut album had sum nice feel good songz on it...

Coolios album Gangsta Paradise is dope , but i wasnt really feelin "My Soul" , anyone kno whats happenin with him now ?

IMO 'It Takes A Thief' was a great, great album. 'Gangsta's Paradise' had some class tunes on, as did 'My Soul', but nothing as raw as that first CD.

Everybodt knows Coolio for "Gangsta's Paradise" but few really appreciate him.I remember 3-4 years ago when he came to my country for a concert and I couldn't go.I still regret it.

And the stuff he did with WC And The Maad Circle is classic to me.

"Ain't A Damn Thang Changed" especially.I love that album.
