« on: February 11, 2002, 12:35:55 AM »
i was flicking through an old Hip-Hop magazine which listed the top 100 hiphop albums ever as voted by the readers. I cant be bothered putting down the full top hudred but here's a summary. There was also a top 10 given by a few different artists, snoop being one of them, so i thought it might be of interest to some of u. Here it is:

01. Dr. Dre - The Chronic
02. Snoop Doggy Dogg - Doggystyle
03. Slick Rick - The Great Adventures Of...
04. Eric B & Rakim - Paid In Full
05. NWA - Straight Outta Compton

it actually says that 69% of the top 100 are East Coast albums and 19% West, 12% are from elsewhere.
Defjam was top label with the most in top 100, them
Jive
Loud
Sony
EMI

What Was The Magazine Called?

18. Can-I-Bus? What The Fuck? It Was A Decent Album, But Not That Far Up.

I'm Feeling There Top 10 List Though. But It Needs "Ready To Die", "Chronic" & "Doggystyle" In The Top 10.

Were These In:

Big L - "The Big Picture"
Fugees - "The Score"
Nas - "It Was Written

They Deserve To Be In.

No Jay-Z. Thats Fucked Up, Reasonable Doubt Should Easily Have Made It, In The Top 20 Aswell.
