Open your heart a little. I'm not trying to belittle Jay-Z, despite what some people say he is GREAT, (a little too self centered for me to label him at 2Pac or Nas status, but still great), but Beanie is just starting out. His first mainstream appearance I believe was on Puffy's Forever, that was only what like 3 years ago, and it took a while for people to accept him but they did. He has what it takes too pass Jay-Z's status, but so did a lot of others that never made. He might, only time will tell if he does.

P.S. I remember a young kid who used to appear on Digital Undergound songs, people liked him but his first two albums were not exactly critically acclaimed (eventhough I always liked him), his name was Tupac.

but back to beanie....for him to become on par wit one of tha greatest rapperz ever....he needz to study many mo dictionaries...and get some charisma....lol lol...

I think have something confused. I mentioned Jigga's self centered attitude, as a reason why he is not on the level that other rappers are on. I too believe Pac is the greatest but not because, Hit Em Up, or California Love, or even Ambitionz az a Ridah. It's beacause of Dear Mama, Keep Ya Head Up, Letter to the preesident, and Part time mutha. These songs proved his versitility and that he could make classic songs that were not neccessarily cool to the public, but he made them cool. Jigga fails to do so. Instead of trying to explore new subject matter, he sticks to the old reliable way to sell records, and that only takes you so far. Listen to every Snoop, Big, and Al Green song, then listen to BluePrint, and tell me how innovative Jay is. His cliches are mostly stolen.
As for beanie being a copy of him. how ya figure. Beanie does not even remotely sound like Jay. The only thing wrong with him is he over does the kitchen metaphors. As for the comparison to Pac, I was just trying to say that you never know who is going to make it, he is nowhere Pac status, but could easily become Jay-Z status.
