^ he should be safe on the beats this time, he's working with DJ Quik on the new album

I also heard its being executive produced by Keith Shocklee, who is 25% of the legendary Bomb Squad (Public Enemy, Ice Cube).

Xzibit + Bomb Squad =  :o :o :o

Hopefully with X on Koch, he won't be pressured to make a commercial album.

It's gotta be a little bit degrading to an artist's self-esteem to go from the majors to Koch, but at least it means the quality of their music will probably be better for it.

Have you even been paying attention? New Cube, San Quinn - The Rock, The Team - World Premiere, E40 - Ghetto Report Card, Champ Bailey, Ya Boy - Rookie Of The Year, That last Warren G, DJ Quik - Trauma, Yuk & Game both got new albums on the way, The Federation is about to have their video for 18 Dummy all over mtv and bet, etc. The ball just started rollin for us again. Summer time should see a lot more Cali artists puttin great music out.
