New Album From Compton's Most Wanted; "Music To Gang Bang" Out June 13

Compton's Most Wanted are back with their long awaited reunion album "Music To Gang Bang" after years in the studio readying their comeback. The new album is due out June 13 on Thump/Universal. On "Music To Gang Bang", CMW, led my MC Eiht, are following the same formula that made them famous.

With tracks like "Still A Menace Part 2" and "Late Night Hype 3", this album is sure to bring the good old days back. The production on this enhanced CD was handled by Fingazz, Mr. Criminal, and others.

"Music To Gang Bang" is scheduled to drop on June 13.


In the meantime, check out the Compton's Most Wanted mixtape which has been circulating the streets for a minute. It's called "So Gangsta Vol. 1" and it features all new mixtape cuts from the likes of MC Eiht, Tha Chill, Boom Bam, Foe, King Tee, The Real Boss Hogg, amongst others, with DJ Subflo handling the mixing duties.

Dubcnn has a little audio preview from the 22 track mixtape. These are the tracks "Give That Up", and "Compton La Di Da Di", where you have Eiht rapping over the classic "La Di Da Di" beat.

So is Eiht not on many other tracks - why else flag him up on this one?

Also, why is it 'Compton's Most Wanted with MC Eiht', while We Come Strapped, for example, was MC Eiht with Compton's Most Wanted...? Only a small thing, but that kind of suggests to me Eiht plays the background on this.
