pop??? yall callin this song pop??? it aint no different from pac's -how do you want it..or any other westcoast song that blows up for that matter

crooked i is tight on this song ain't no one denying that but the whole rest of the song is whack as fuck

1. the beats

how do you want it's beat is a strib club beat but produced fairly well and is sequenced almost perfectly

so damn hood's beat sound's like a dated mid 90's pop song from that one group Immature (now known as IMX) and made on a cheap casio keyboard and is mixed and mis sequenced HORRENDOUSLY bad

2. shelf life

6 years later and i'm still listening to how do you want it

a couple of weeks later and i dont' even have a desire to listen to so damn hood

3. the r&b croonies on the hooks

kci and jo jo stemmed from jodeci....and unless you lived in a cave for most of your life you should know that jodeci was one of the best soul r&b groups of the early mid 90's who could really sing

sisqo DOES have talent but has fallen off like snoop, back when dru hill came out sisqo was THE man,but now he's done a 180 and has sold himself short and sounds like a black nick carter and is nothing more than a pop robot nowadays, the Dru Hill sisqo was the Dogg food kurupt, now they're both ....well "it's over" when it comes to quality

Crooked i is dope, probably the best WC mc behind Del , X, Rass Kass BUT this song is poppy like the flowers in the wiz of oz

actually, there are a few differences between so damn hood and how do you want it.  first of all, 2pac did that song, as opposed to crooked i.  another difference would be that this song is supposed to introduce crooked i to the world, whereas how do u want it was just another chapter in the work of a legend.  also, 2pac's poppish song wasn't titled "so damn hard"  or "so damn street" or something, making it contradictory.  but the biggest difference between the two is that "how do u want it" is actually a good song. :D
