Soopafly - Gotta Get Dis Money
« on: February 04, 2002, 05:39:40 AM »
Yo I just think this tracc from The Wash is bangin as fuck. Everytime I turn it up in my car other drivers turn their heads to see where this bomb noise is comin from. The beat is sooooo unusual for Soopa I think he's exploring new styles. Im sure his album is gonna be a banger. Ima cop it without any pre-listening. Soopafly rulez.

Hell yeah! He should have saved this song for his new album. It would make a great single.

It's mos def. worth buying. There's a lot of nice smooth shit on there, but it still has that G-funk sound also. I like how he raps too.

For sure like 300%. That album is an underground gem, Soopa doesnt switch styles like Snoop, doesnt get repetitive like Daz and doesnt sink into that usual 'fuck a bitch' like Kurupt. That album is designed for bumpin in a car! Especially the first tracc, Yall Niggaz Betta Recognize!

I hope Soopa blows up & if its good i'll buy for sure, Soopa is like one of the few DPG'z who seems to have his head on his shoulders & focus'd on music rather than everything else, just like Warren.

Dat Whoopty Whoop is great even if the style sounds a few years old, go out & cop it, & if you cant find it in the stores like me, just burn it & cope it when you finally see it in stores. Same with R.A.W. which i've got

Right now I'm experiencing my second lapse of Gotta Get Dis Money addiction, so I think u'll reach it too.. Damn that song is in some places unbelievable... "Shut up bitch hold my drink".. damn... I once imagined if there would be a video... Soopa wit his homeys bumpin in a car on a hot LBC street... I would occupy my video player for a whole Sunday to enjoy that video...
