Dre Speaks On New Eminem Album    Feb 1 2002, 10:28 am     Could Eminem be growing up? That's the early word on his upcoming album, at least according to mentor/producer Dr. Dre. "It's a lot more serious this time," says the good Dr. "There's not as much playful stuff on it." Dre also tells us that the new CD is titled 'The Eminem Show'and could be out as soon as April. "I'm gonna finish up his project soon," he says. But while he may be less juvenile, don't expect easy listening."It's crazy," says Dre of the album."It's him being him." Dre at the current moment in time is also working on his own 'D.E.T.O.X.' album, as well as the debut album from R&B artist, Truth Hurts & an album from Rakim, as well as executive producing Xzibit's 'Man & Machine' album, & the new Sticky Fingaz album, as well as some tracks for the upcoming & long awaited new album from Onyx.

I like the title.  The EP, LP, crap was getting way old, way fast.  It might be named that, because the skits fit that structure, like it's a show.  If he was REAL, which he is, but he ain't THAT real, they'd jack sgt. pepper's concept, and make it a studio album, made up to sound like a concert.  Start it off with an introduction, and have all the songs flow into each other, like a live show.

Game_CEO said some of the dumbest shit i've heard in a minute...i can't wait for the new sticky and onyx cd...black trash was absolutely off the hinges...in the top 5 best rap cd's of 2001 and the most underrated cd of 2001, peace.

Thanks for the update. I really hope that Ra is next, or straight after "DETOX"!!!! Sticky/Onyx are dope, but I really want him to concentrate on his own/label priorities for a while.

I'm looking forward to every album Jome mentioned except the R&B one. I like R&B (although I like soul better), I just ain't heard anything by Truth Hurts.
